Finally all you wacky bullpup rifle enthusiasts have something to call your own...

The SA80 family of British assault rifles consists of select-fire, gas operated variants, one of the most notable being the L85. Replacing the L1A1 (a FAL variant), it went into service in 1987 as the standard issue rifle of the British Armed Forces, and is still in use today as the L85A2, which is the version you can buy here by clicking that little "Add to Cart" button just up and to the right of here.

This Airsoft replica of that esteemed bullpup is a nice 1:1 rendition, complete with realistic recoil action! Luckily for those of you who also own a WE M4 variant, PDW, or MK16 ASC, this rifle uses WE's Stanag style M4 magazines, so you won't have to purchase a whole new set of magazines. True to the nature of the real gun, the firing chamber is all the way in the stock, far behind the trigger group, resulting in a surprisingly long barrel length in relation to the relatively compact overall length. The gun measures in at just over approx. 31", but boasts a lengthy 20" barrel, that means that the barrel extends to a whopping 2/3rds the length of the entire gun! That's a ridiculous amount of barrel! In comparison, an M4 has approximately 14"s of barrel, and is roughly the same length with the stock extended to the usual firing position.

So, now all of you "mag in the wrong place" (just kidding! =P) bullpup rifle enthusiasts, can slap those mags in the wrong place (just kidding again! XD) with pride and lay down the hurt on all the poor under-evolved souls using more conventional rifle choices with the pride of the British Armed Forces, WE Airsoft, and fellow bullpup enthusiasts everywhere behind every shot!

All WE gas blowback rifles now feature the new "Open Chamber" gas blowback system! Completely redesigned hopup and nozzle system. Similar to a conventional "Tanio Koba" style gas blowback system, but streamlined for high accuracy, much longer range, shot-to-shot consistency, lower number of crucial tolerances (potential failures) existent in gun, higher maximum rate of fire, more efficient gas usage, as well as allowing for easier modding and maintenance of internal components.
